Cuttack: Twin City Commissionerate Police on Monday busted a unit allegedly manufacturing of adulterated milk and milk products in Jagatpur on outskirts of Odisha’s Cuttack.
The unit was busted at Atada area under Jagatpur police limits, sources said.
Cops raided the unit after locals complained about the illegally operating factory, the police said.
The manufacturing process was unhygienic and the unit was operating without a valid license.
A case has been registered in this connection and two people detained, the police added.
There was no chemist or pasteurisation process was being followed at the unit.
