Mumbai: Actress Kangana Ranaut has been leading the charge against nepotism in Bollywood post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise.
But, in an old interview, Kangana had defended nepotism and compared the privileges that star kids enjoy to the quota she had got during her pre-medical test. The actress had no issues about nepotism then.
Recently, actress Mini Mathur took a dig at Kangana over her video defending nepotism and posted that she is a big fan of the ‘Queen’ actress.
“Wow. That’s quite a turnaround. Gotta love this woman. Big fan,” posted Mini.
In no time, Kangana’s fans started trolling Mini and blasted out at her for mocking the ‘Manikarnika’ actress on social media platform.
Here’s what they tweeted:
To this, Mini replied:
Defending nepotism, Kangana had said previously: “The kind of background where I come from — my father is a businessman, my mother is a teacher, my grandfather was an IAS officer, my great grandfather was a freedom fighter — so when I was giving a pre-medical test, I had a particular quota for me as I come from this particular family. So when I come here (Bollywood), I look at stars’ children that they have a 30% quota, how I had. I am just kind of coming into their territory. If someone else tries to give PMT, they won’t get that percentage of quota.”
