Dhenkanal: A 12-year-old boy was swept away by strong currents while sailing a miniature boat at Buddheswari Brahmani ghat near Bhuban in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Friday, on the occasion of Kartika Purnima.
The missing minor boy has been identified as Rosan Nayak, son of Bidyadhar Nayak of Latabila village under Bhuban police limits. He is a Class IX student.
The fire fighting personnel have launched a search operation to trace them.
