Rourkela: A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped and her elder sister, also a minor, was sexually assaulted by a group of miscreants near Birsa Munda square in Odisha’s Rourkela on Saturday.
The sibling-duo had gone to a market near Birsa Munda chowk when some youths allegedly picked them up and gang raped the younger sister, sources said.
The miscreants also sexually assaulted her sister, sources added.
A case has been registered at Rourkela Plant Site police station in this connection and 3 youths have been detained for questioning.
