Bhubaneswar: Kolkata Police arrested two youths in Odisha’s capital city on Wednesday for their alleged involvement in rape of a minor girl in Kharagpur in West Bengal’s Paschim Medinipur district.
According to sources, the team of Kharagpur police caught the accused persons from Salia Sahi area of Bhubaneswar with the help of Nayapalli police team.
A case was filed against the two accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), 2012. The two will be produced before the court in Bhubaneswar for transit remand following which they will be taken to Kolkata.
