Keonjhar: Armed miscreants looted Rs 5 lakh at gunpoint from a petrol pump at Phuljhar in Odisha’s Keonjhar district late on Wednesday.
According to sources, 5-6 miscreants resorted to blank firing at the petrol pump and locked up the staff inside a room before fleeing with an iron chest, containing the cash. They also damaged the CCTV cameras installed at the filling station.
On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident.
