Berhampur: In an attempt to reach out to the people at their doorstep during the difficult pandemic period, Ganjam district administration has launched ‘Mo Nibedana’, a weekly grievance redressal session through online platform today.
The online Mo Nibedan will be conducted every Monday at district and on every Saturday at the block level.
“We introduced it keeping in view the COVID guidelines issued by the state government”, said Collector Vijay Amrit Kulange.
On the first day, Monday grievance was conducted on virtual mode in three GPs of Rengilunda block.
The standard operating procedure (SOP) has been prepared based on 5T principles of the state for timely grievance redressal of the general public, Kulange said.
A BDO will be responsible to ensure necessary arrangements for the virtual session at all GP offices, he added.
The number of beneficiaries inside a hall shall not be restricted to 25 and the Panchayat Extension Officer (PEO) of each GP will be assigned the ‘Nodal Grievance Officer’ role and will be assisted by two more officers for the respective GP.
