Bhubaneswar: With the arrest of three persons, the Info Valley Police Station in Bhubaneswar on Saturday claimed to have busted a mobile phone snatcher gang.
A large number of stolen mobile phones of different make, motorcycle, a laptop and some weapons were recovered from the gang members, a senior police official said.
The three accused persons have been identified as Satyabrata Swain, Sidhhanta Pradhan, and Mohit Saini.
The gang members had recently decamped with a mobile phone, snatching from a man near the Gohira square. Based on the complaint by the victim, police investigated the matter and arrested Sushil while he was trying to escape from the police.
With the clues provided by the accused, the police reached other two looters and the receiver of the looted mobiles.
