Bhubaneswar: Rain along with lightning is likely in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in next two and a half hours.
In a Nowcast Warning issued at 8.30 pm, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of Ganjam, Nayagarh,, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Sambalpur, Deogarh and Sundargarh in next 3 hours.
The IMD has advised the people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
