New Delhi: Mohit Jain of The Economic Times has been elected President of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), an apex body of publishers of newspapers, magazines and periodicals in the country, for the year 2021-22.
The new office-bearers of INS were elected at its 82nd annual general meeting, which was held through video-conference on Friday.

K Raja Prasad Reddy (Sakshi) was elected the Deputy President, Rakesh Sharma (Aaj Samaj
) was elected the Vice-President and Tanmay Maheshwari (Amar Ujala) was elected the honorary Treasurer.Samahit Bal of Odia newspaper Pragativadi has been re-elected to the Executive Committee. Mary Paul has been elected Secretary-General.
In all, 41 members were elected to the INS Working Committee.
