Bhubaneswar: A foot over bridge was opened to the public near Crown Hotel in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
Inaugurating the bridge, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi said it was a long-standing demand of the local people, particularly senior citizens. Due to persistent efforts since 2021, the bridge has been constructed for their convenience, she added.
Stating that the foot over bridge will help the pedestrians to cross the National Highway, she said it will also prevent road accidents and save precious lives.
The MP thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari for fulfilling the demands of the people with construction of the bridge.
