Bhubaneswar: The terracotta exhibition, Mruttika 2022, at Ekamra Haat in Odisha capital transacted a business worth more than Rs 2 crore.
Over 250 artisans from 26 districts of the State participated in the exhibition for display and sale of their prized creation.
The fair focused on handicraft products ranging from decorative items, furniture, home furnishings, house-ware, fashion jewellery & accessories, lamps & lightings, garden decorative, educational toys and games and eco-friendly products.
More than 2 lakh footfalls were recorded during the 9-day exhibition. Terracotta products of Rs 2,03,47,000 were sold during the Mruttika 2022, according to I&PR department release.
The event was organised by Directorate of Handicrafts in association with Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department from October 15 to 23. Daily cultural programmes, food court and play zone were part of the fair.
