Bhubaneswar: The proposed multistoried apartment for Odisha’s MLAs will be ready in two-and-a-half years, state Assembly Speaker Surya Narayan Patro said on Monday.
“The tender process is over and work will begin in 15 days,” he said.
Patro said that Rs 50 crore has been given to OBCC chief engineer in the first phase and remaining Rs 225 crore will be provided by the Finance Department.
Some MLAs are yet to vacate their quarters in Unit-IV here. They have been asked to vacate the premises by March 25.
