Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has stated 13 conditions in the bail granted to Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, and two other co-accused – Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha – in the cruise ship rave party case.
The single-judge Justice Nitin Sambre has asked the three to furnish a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each and one or more sureties in the like amount.
The other conditions are as follows:
– should not leave the country without permission from the NDPS court
– should not leave Greater Mumbai without informing the investigating officer (IO) and should give itinerary of travel to IO
– should not indulge in any similar activities
– should not try to establish contact with co-accused or any person involved in similar activities
– should surrender his passport before Special Court immediately
– should not undertake any action which is prejudicial to the trial/proceedings before the special court;
– should not attempt to influence witnesses or tamper with evidence
– should not make any statement to the media about the case
– should attend the office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm to mark their presence
– should attend court on all dates
– should join the investigation as and when called upon to do so before NCB authorities’
– should not delay the trial

The NCB is entitled to apply to the special court for cancellation of bail if any of these conditions are violated, the court added.
Aryan and the two other accused were granted bail on Wednesday evening. Justice Sambre had, however, said that he will deliver an order setting out the bail conditions on Friday.
The complete ruling will have now have to be forwarded to the Special NDPS Court, which had earlier rejected Aryan’s bail application.
The NDPS Court will then issue the release orders, which has to be submitted at Arthur Road jail by 5.30 pm for him to walk out of the prison on Friday itself.
Former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan, told the media that his release will depend on how quickly they follow the process after the court gives the detailed order.
