Polsara: Police recovered the body of a 19-year-old married woman from a house at Konkaradu village in Polsara block of Ganjam district on Thursday.
Police suspect the woman, Manjusa Pradhan, was murdered.
The matter came to light after her father lodged a police complaint.
According to sources, Manjusa had eloped with a Gujarati youth to Surat two years ago. The couple had returned to Konkaradu village eight months ago and were residing in a rented house.
Police said they were looking for Manjusa’s husband, who is absconding.
