Bengaluru: Ace Odisha sprinter Srabani Nanda followed up her 100m gold with silver in women’s 200m at the 61st National Open Athletics Championships here on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old Srabani clocked 23.71 secs to finish behind Tamil Nadu’s Archana Suseendran (23.43).
Three days ago, Srabani emerged as the fastest female of the National Open meet, topping the 100m race in 11.55 secs, ahead of Railways’ Himashree Roy (11.56) and Archana (11.58).
On Tuesday, Odisha’s Kishore Kumar Jena claimed bronze in men’s javelin with an effort of 78.05 metres.
