Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has assured the accredited journalists of Odisha to consider the issues raised by them.
The journalists, who met the CM at the State Assembly on Thursday, sought implementation of journalist pension scheme and protection to working journalists. Besides, they requested for increasing the premium of the health insurance coverage for them to Rs 5 lakh from Rs 2 lakh.
“The Chief Minister assured to look into these issues,” the journalists said after the meeting.
