Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a vintage and classic car exhibition in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Titled ‘Odisha Concours d’Elegance 2023’, the vintage car show was opened to the public at Baramunda Ground in the city. It is claimed to be Odisha’s first vintage car exhibition.
The owners of total 52 cars of different brands and makes from Kolkata, Delhi, Maharashtra, Chennai and Bangalore put up their vehicles in the exhibition.
The cars included the makes of reputed carmakers in the world including Benz, Ford, Volkswagen, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Cadillac, Bugatti and Jaguar. Most of these cars were registered between 1919 and 1930, according to sources.
The show will remain open to the public for two days till Sunday. Hundreds of car enthusiasts turned up to witness the vintage vehicles in the exhibition.
