Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday wrote to Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari, seeking his intervention for inscription of Odia language on all the information boards on national highways passing through the state.
In his letter, the CM said, “It is a matter of concern that the concerned authorities have failed to adhere to the guidelines of the ministry regarding inscription of local Odia language in every km stone and information boards. So, I request you to kindly look into the issue and issue immediate instructions over the same.”
