Bhubaneswar: The evolving role of Human Resource Management requires a shift from talent management through automation, integration and engagement to ‘team centric productivity and work management’, Vice-Chancellor of SOA Deemed to be University Amit Banerjee said on Tuesday.
“The pivotal need is to recognise the values of health and mental well-being in enhancing productivity,” he said while inaugurating the ‘Human Capital Conclave’ on the theme ‘Disruptions and Innovations in HR’, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the SOA campus here.
The event brought together 150 professionals from the industry providing them an opportunity to exchange views and experiences even as a wave of change transforms global business leading to the need to reinvent HR practices for the digital era.
Chairman of CII Odisha State Council and Director (HR) of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (OICL) Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, said HR professionals must adapt to the changing times.
