Faridabad: Police recovered body of a newborn stuck onto a spiked fence at Ajronda village in Faridabad early on Saturday.
While the body has been sent to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital in Faridabad for postmortem, police suspect that newborn got stuck in the grille when someone attempted to throw it over the wall last night.
The autopsy will determine whether the child was intentionally killed or the body discarded after death, they said, adding that CCTV cameras in the surrounding areas are being examined.
Residents of Ajronda, however, are demanding death penalty for those responsible for the baby’s death.
