Bhubaneswar: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has approved a proposal by Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi for building a foot over-bridge in the city.
Sarangi informed this in a tweet on Tuesday.
The BJP leader said the 1.3-km-long foot over-bridge will be built between Saheed Nagar and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Park near Satsang Vihar at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore.
She stated that the proposed foot over-bridge will be constructed in the Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) mode.
The NHAI has asked for a detailed estimate along with the design and drawing for necessary action, she added.
