Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rainfall activities in Odisha for the next three days, starting February 18.
Light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Cuttack and Dhenkanal districts till 8.30 am on February 19.
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at one or two places in South coastal Odisha, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Angul and Dhenkanal during this period.
Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur may experience light to moderate rain during the subsequent 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places in North coastal Odisha and at one or two places in South coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Angul between 8.30 am on February 20 and 8.30 am on February 21.
The MeT office has predicted dry weather for the state thereafter.
Following three days of rain, the night temperature is also likely to fall by 2 to 3 degree Celsius in North interior Odisha in the subsequent two days, it added.
