Bhubaneswar: The night temperature across Odisha witnessed a rise in the last 24 hours with G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district recording 10.8°C, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.
Kirei in Sundargarh district recorded the state’s lowest temperature of 11.5°C followed by Daringbadi and Phulbani in Kandhamal with 12°C each. The mercury hovered around 15°C at Sundargarh (12.3°C), Nabarangpur, and Koraput (13°C), Similiguda in Koraput (13.7), Deogarh (14), Dhenkanal and Hirakud in Sambalpur (14.1), Jharsuguda (14.2), Keonjhar (14.6), Paralakhemundi in Gajapati (14.8) and Angul (15).
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 19.8°C and 20°C respectively along with the dense fog. While Gopalpur, Angul and Dhenkanal also witnessed similar weather conditions, Chandabali and Paradip experienced shallow to moderate fog.

Notably, the IMD forecast that dense fog is very likely at one or two places in the districts of Khurda, Kandhamal, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Koraput, and Rayagada on Wednesday.
