Bhubaneswar: No demonstrations will be allowed near the Odisha Assembly till September 30, Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay said on Monday.
The DGP said police will abide by the government’s decision in this regard after September 30.
Abhay said this after reviewing the security arrangements in the Assembly. He informed that three-tier security will be in place during the Assembly’s forthcoming monsoon session, will begin on September 29 and conclude on October 7.
The Director (Intelligence), IG (Law and Order) and Twin City Police Commissioner were also present during the security review.
