Bhubaneswar: There was no significant drop in minimum temperatures in Odisha on Tuesday night.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued cold wave warning for two districts of Odisha till 8.30 am on Tuesday. Some places in Kalahandi and Kandhamal will experience the chill, it said.
Phulbani, Daringbadi and G Udayagiri were the coldest places in the state, recording night temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius.
Kirei recorded a minimum temperature of 9.7 degrees Celsius, while Similiguda recorded 9.1 degrees Celsius.
Places that recorded night temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius are Sundergarh (12.5), Baripada (12.6), Balasore (13.7), Jharsuguda (11.6), Keonjhar (11), Ranital (13.5), Hirakud (13), Sambalpur (13.7), Mahisapat (13.4), Jajpur (14.2), Cuttack (14), Chandbali (15), Sonepur (10.5), Nuapada (13.3), Titlagarh (13.5), Angul (14), Bhubaneswar (14), Bhawanipatna (10.8), Chatrapur (13), Paralakhemundi (13), Koraput (10.5) and Malkangiri (13.5).
