Balasore: A day after two youths went missing, blood stains and a motorcycle used by one of them was found near Blue Lake of Mitrapur under Nilagiri block in Odisha’s Balasore on Tuesday.

Chappals were also found near the motorcycle, police said.

According to sources, Manoranjan Mohapatra and Sipu left home at Kansa on Monday evening. “When my brother did not reach home at night, we tried calling him around 10 pm but his phone was switched off. We got to know about his motorcycle this morning,” Manoranjan’s brother Soumyaranjan Mohapatra told the media.

His family suspect that they might have been murdered.

Nilagiri Police have begun an investigation. A dog squad, ODRAF, and scientific personnel have been engaged and the lake is being searched.
