Cuttack: The vaccination drive will not be conducted here on Friday due to the unavailability of adequate vaccines, Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) tweeted on Friday.
The drive was not conducted on October 6 and October 2 owing to public holidays.
The inoculation process had come to a halt in the city on September 23 and 24, but the CMC had cited no reasons for it.
Notably, people of the 18-44 and 45+ age group are taking Covishield vaccines in Cuttack.
After the Centre doubled the vaccine allocation in September, the Odisha government had set the target to administer four lakh doses a day. Barring a couple of days, the daily inoculation has been less than 3.5 lakh and sometimes below three lakh in the first week of October.
