FaceApp, the viral age filtering photo editing app, seems to have been blocked for Indian users. There is an uproar on Twitter that users in India are getting “Something went wrong. Please try again” while processing their photographs. While the company hasn’t made an official comment about it, there is a simple workaround.
Users will have to install a VPN that will morphe IP addresses to non-Indian servers.
Users can install popular free VPN apps such as TunnelBear and Windscribe.
So if you are feeling left out when your friends are putting up their ‘old-age’ photographs on social media, go ahead and install a VPN.
