Bhubaneswar: In a big opportunity, transgenders can now apply for posts of sub-inspector and constable in Odisha Police.
The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has invited applications for the combined competitive recruitment examination 2021 for 477 posts of sub-inspector on a contractual basis.
The online application process will tentatively commence on June 22 and the last date of online application is July 15.
Odisha Police has also announced the recruitment of 244 posts of constable (Communication) in Signals Service.

The recruitment process will consist of three parts. One is computer-based multiple choice question in the online mode, second is physical standards measurement and third is physical efficiency test.
The minimum qualification for sub inspector is graduation. For the constable (Communication) post, it is Plus-II with diploma in Computer Application or equivalent.
