Mumbai: Bollywood actor Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was stuck in combat zone in Israel while attending the Haifa International Film Festival after Hamas carried out an attack, left for India on Sunday.
Since there are no direct flights to India, she is taking a connecting flight via Dubai. “We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home,” her publicist said in a statement.
She is set to land in Mumbai at 2 pm, sources said.
