Bhubaneswar: An upcoming Odia movie, Mane Mane Mana Khojuthila, will be introducing a new face Omkar Acharya in the male lead.
Set to release during Durga Puja, the audio and trailer launch of the film was held in the Capital city recently.
Speaking to Odisha Bytes Acharya said, “I am happy that my debut film is finally going to be released on Dussehra. The film has five songs and my favourite track is the title song which has been sung by Humane Sagar.
Directed by Narasingha Padhi, the film’s story has been written by Durga Acharya while the screenplay and dialogues are by Deepak Jena.
Singer Bishnu Mohan Kabi, who is excited about the new release after a long break in the entertainment industry due to COVID-19, said “It was a different experience for me to sing with my favorite singer Ira Mohanty.”
“Songs are melodious and picturised at beautiful locations which, we hope will attract viewers to the big screens. We have given our best to justify our characters,” said Namrata Singh Deo, the lead actress.
Omkar will be acting opposite Namrata, who has won the hearts of audience with three films so far.
While G Ashok Kumar has composed the songs, the lyrics have been given by Arun Mantry, Nirmal Nayak, Dipak Jena and Ommkar Lenka.
Other actors in the film include, Ashrumochan Mohanty, Prativa Panda, Anjana Das, Bijay Bala and Alok Samartha.
