New Delhi: Odisha’s para shuttler Pramod Bhagat bagged three silver medals in the Uganda Para Badminton International meet.
World No. 1 and Tokyo Paralympics gold-medallist Pramod didn’t have a great day in office as he lost all three finals he competed in.
In men’s SL3 singles final, Pramod went down 19-21, 16-21 to fellow-Indian Manoj Sarkar.

In the men’s doubles title clash, Pramod and Manoj won the opening game before being edged out 21-10, 10-22, 15-21 to another Indian pair Mohammad Arwaz Ansari and Deep Ranjan Bisoyee.
In the SL3-SU5 mixed doubles final, Pramod and Palak Joshi were tamed 19-21, 16-21 to Ruthick Raghupathi and Manasi Joshi of India.
The Indian squad dominated the championship and took home 47 medals — 16 gold, 14 silver and 17 bronze medals.
