Members of Odia Samaj Abu Dhabi (OSA) have once again come forward to help a group of stranded and distressed Odia people fly back home.
OSA, in association with Odia Samaj UAE (OSUAE), organised a chartered flight from Dubai to Bhubaneswar on Thursday to facilitate the repatriation of 210 Odias.
The flight (Indigo 6E9655) departed from Dubai airport at 10.45 am and arrived at Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik airport at 4.30 pm.
OSA secretary Pradip Kumar Rath thanked Government of India, Odisha government, Embassy of India in UAE, Consulate General of India in Dubai and the UAE government for supporting them in the repatriation process during these challenging times.
