Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has asked Utkalamani Gopabandhu Smruti (Degree) Mahavidyalaya, Sakhigopal in Puri district to deploy non-teaching staff in Odia University at Satyabadi where the academic session is to begin this year.
In a letter to the Principal of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Smruti (Degree) Mahavidyalaya, Higher Education department special secretary said the academic session fo the Odia University is going to commence from the 2023-24 academic year.
Stating that arrangements have been made for the functioning of the office of the University at Panthanivas in Sakhigopal, the department asked the Principal to deploy two clerical staff and a peon of his college for a period of three months.
The Principal was also asked to ensure other logistic arrangements immediately for the smooth functioning of the office of the University at Sakhigopal Panthanivas.
“You are also requested to immediately take possession of the Panthanivas, Sakhigopal on rent for a period of 3 months and set up the office of the University by temporarily arranging necessary furniture and other logistics from your college,” the department said in the letter.
