Bhubaneswar: The online admission process for first-year Plus II (Class XI) courses will commence on May 26, according to the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Odisha.
Students can apply through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal for seats in arts, science, commerce, vocational, and Sanskrit (Upashastri) streams.
According to the official schedule, a total of 2,571 higher secondary schools across the state, offering a combined capacity of approximately 5.99 lakh seats, will participate in the centralised e-admission process. Key Dates for 2026-27 Admissions
>> Online CAF Submission: May 26, 2026 (from 11 am) to June 30, 2026 (up to 11:45 pm).
>> Publication of First Selection Merit List: July 8, 2026 (11:45 AM), with intimation letters available for download in the student login.
>> Admissions for First Selection: July 9 to July 15, 2026.
>> Second Selection Merit List: July 23, 2026.
>> Admissions for Second Selection: July 24 to July 28, 2026.
>> Spot Admissions: Commencing from July 30, 2026.
The application fee is set at Rs 200 for general category students and Rs 100 for SC and ST candidates. Students are advised to read the Common Prospectus carefully before filling the form.
