Ranchi: Jyothi Yarraji claimed her second gold in as many days at the 26th National Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships when she emerged fastest in women’s 200m here on the concluding day.
Jyothi, from Odisha RF Athletics HPC, clocked 23.42 secs which helped her qualify for the Asian Championship scheduled to be held in Pattaya (Thailand) from July 12 to 16.
The 23-year-old sprinter from Andhra had won the women’s 100m hurdle yesterday in a Meet record time of 12.89 secs.
Odisha girl Purnima Hembram, also from Odisha RF Athletics HPC, had to settle for silver medal in the Heptathlon event with 5,128 points.
