Odisha-Born Writer Mona Dash Gets International Eyelands Book Awards

Cuttack: London-based Odia writer Mona Dash has been chosen for the International Eyelands Book Awards 2020 for her book A Roll Of The Dice.

Mona is an Engineer by profession and is currently working with a multinational software company in England. She is first from Odisha to get this award.

Mona is the daughter of noted poet Mamata Dash and late Dr Raghunath Dash. She is the daughter-in-law of Bimalprabha Mishra and late Dr Kishore Chandra Mishra.

She had earlier received several awards for her poems and stories.

She has done Post Graduation in Creative Writing from London Metropolitan University.

Mona is an alumna of St. Vincent’s School, Berhampur.
