Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet approved 12 proposals at an important meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
According to sources, proposals pertaining to different departments including Revenue, Panchayati Raj and Housing & Urban Development received the cabinet’s nod at its meeting held this evening.
The cabinet is stated to have accorded its approval to a proposal pertaining to the reorganisation of the cadre of assistant registrar of cooperative societies.
Another proposal for re-appointment of private dealers for Supplies department was also cleared at the meeting.
The cabinet put its stamp of approval on a proposal for providing land free of cost for a goshala in Mayurbhanj district.
Similarly, another proposal relating to panchayat executive officers (PEO) was cleared at the meeting, the sources added.
