Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet will discuss a proposal on four agendas at a meeting here on Friday evening.
The meeting will be presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here at 6.30 pm.
Sources said the Cabinet will discuss the proposals on the extension of tenure of 65 urban local bodies (ULBs) and conduct of early elections in the state.
Although the ministers have been asked to remain present at the meeting, they have not been informed about the agenda.
The Cabinet meeting was scheduled at 6.15 pm on September 3. But it was cancelled due to the meeting of the BJD Legislature Party to discuss the strategies to counter the Opposition during the monsoon session of the State Assembly.
