Bhubaneswar: With ministers busy campaigning for the Bijepur Assembly by-election, an Odisha Cabinet meeting scheduled for Saturday had to be postponed for Monday.
Sources said the Parliamentary Affairs department had written to the offices of the ministers on Friday that the Cabinet meeting will be held at 6 pm at Lok Seva Bhawan on Saturday.
However, the ministers’ staff replied that it won’t be possible for the ministers to attend it meeting as they were away in Bijepur. Following this, the meeting was rescheduled for 6 pm on Monday.
