Cuttack: Cartoonist Gyana Rath breathed his last while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital late on Sunday. He was 62.
According to sources, Rath was admitted to the trauma ICU of the hospital after he sustained grievous injuries in an accident.
A native of Kesarpur village in Kendrapada district, he had worked as a cartoonist for several leading Odia newspapers. He was residing in Cuttack’s Gopalpur.
