Bhubaneswar: In view of the huge footfall at the Bali Jatra in Cuttack since its opening, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has extended the trade fair for one more day.
The Chief Minister mentioned the state government’s decision on extension in a post in his ‘X’ handle on Tuesday. He said the eight-day Bali Jatra has been extended by one more day.
The annual trade fair, which began on the occasion of Kartik Purnima on November 15, will now end on November 23 instead of November 22.
The trade fair on the banks of river Mahanadi in the City is organised every year to celebrate the glorious maritime history of Odisha.
