Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday released special COVID package of Rs 385.98 crore for the landless farmers of Odisha.
The financial benefit will be transferred to the bank accounts of 17,89,103 farmers in the state through DBT.
Speaking during the launch Naveen said, farmers are our pride and Odisha’s KALIA scheme brings smiles to several lakh agricultural families.
It may be mentioned here that in mid June, Naveen had announced a package worth Rs 1,690 crore for the landless farmers, construction workers, urban poor, food security beneficiaries, MGNREGS workers and primitive tribes of the state.
