Bhubaneswar/Cuttack: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday purchased a ticket for the one-day international match between India and West Indies at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 22.
The office-bearers of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) handed over the ticket to him at Lok Seva Bhawan here.
At a press briefing in Cuttack, OCA secretary Sanjay Behera had earlier informed that elaborate arrangements have been made for the offline sale of tickets.
“The offline tickets will be sold to OCA-affiliated educational institutions and clubs on December 16 and 17 after which these will be available at the stadium counters on December 19 and 20,” he said.
To tackle the heavy rush, a number of small counters will be opened near the main counter at the stadium from where people can buy tickets without waiting in long queues, he added.
