Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday launched ‘Secha Samadhan’ app, which would link the farmers directly with the Water Resources department.
Naveen said the mobile app will help resolve the issues faced by farmers immediately and provide services in a transparent manner. Besides, the Water Resources Department will be accountable to farmers, who are its biggest stakeholders.
The farmers can now upload video and pictures of their farm problems, especially irrigational needs, on mobile phone and seek help from the department without having to travel to the office.
The CM also launched portals to provide online services for community lift irrigation projects under Biju Krushak Yojana, water allocation for industrial organizations and commercial houses.
He stressed creating awareness among the public about the online services and directed the department officials to expedite the preparation of digital muster roll under the 5T initiative.
Similarly, the Go Swift portal has also been improvised for the purpose of water needs by the applicant industries. The commercial establishments can also take help of the online portal water allocation of.nic.in.
