Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the much-awaited Lower Indra Irrigation Project in Nuapada district on Wednesday.
A Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) release said that Naveen will arrive near the Tikhali Dam at 11.10 am where he will inaugurate the Lower Indra Irrigation Project. The irrigation project will irrigate 13,000 hectares land in Nuapada and 16,000 hectares in Balangir district.
The Chief Minister will also address a public meeting at Artatrana High School grounds at Khariar, where he will inaugurate projects worth 4000 crore for the district.
