Bhubaneswar: There will be no respite from the cold wave sweeping most parts of Odisha till next week, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday.
According to the IMD, the state is experiencing the cold wave due to the drifting of a high-pressure area towards the west. This has facilitated the blowing of the cold wind from the northern Himalayan range.

Although there will be a slight increase in the night temperature on February 11 and 12, the night temperature will again fall by 3-4°C at many places during the next three days till February 15.
