Bhubaneswar: Seven more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in the NIT Rourkela campus.
Those positive have been identified as families of two professors, stated sources.
The families, comprising three and four members, had gone on a vacation to West Bengal and returned on Sunday. They underwent COVID test and their reports which came out on Monday, showed them to be positive. Four of them are adults and three are children, stated official sources.
Since they are faculty, they reside on the campus and are undergoing home quarantine, official sources added.
Earlier in the day, three students of the institute had tested positive for COVID-19. The authorities informed that the students are two boys and a girl. They are in isolation and in stable condition, they said.
