Bhubaneswar: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Odisha touched 10097 on Monday with a record 571 fresh cases being reported from 21 districts in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 403 have been detected in quarantine centres while 168 are local contact cases.
According to I & PR department, Ganjam district reported the highest 273 followed by Gajapati (56), Sundargarh (51), Khurda (37), Cuttack (29), Balasore (28), Jagatsinghpur (17), Jajpur (16), Mayurbhanj (14), Rayagada (10), seven each in Nabarangpur and Keonjhar, Sambalpur (6), Balangir (5), four each in Angul and Puri, Kendrapada (3), and one each in Nayagarh, Jharsuguda, Bhadrak and Dhenkanal.
With 38 deaths and 6486 recoveries, Odisha now has 3557 active cases.
